Be willing to do what others won’t

Insight from my morning study:

The person in your organization who is always willing to do what others won’t ends up on top.

She always goes the extra mile.

He takes on the grunt work no one else wants.

She stays late to get the project done on time.

He is willing to support those around her with the intentions of lifting them up.

Greatness comes from humble beginnings; it comes from grunt work. It means you’re the least important person in the room – until you change that with results … Provide support so that others can be good … Clear the path for the people above you and you will eventually create a path for yourself. ~ Ryan Holiday

People who follow the crowd usually get lost.

Step aside and be willing to do things the crowd won’t do.
